French Louis XVI style mahogany commode, 20th c., having shaped marble top, over frieze drawer, and two long drawers, fluted corner posts, rising on tapered legs, ending on brass cap feet, approx 32.75"h, 39.25"w, 18"d
02.04.26: In my opinion regarding LOT 2124: I note that the commode is structurally sturdy, the finish remains overall uniform in tone, and the metal hardware and banding is securely mounted, displaying light patination, the drawers operate smoothly upon opening and closing, and the marble top has some sparse, minute chips, as are typical, I observe typical minor surface wear such as scattered light abrasions, nicks, and a couple of small scuffs commensurate with age and use
