02.07.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2353: I note that the sideboard is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as sparse typical minute chipping to edges, including a couple small chips with a beige colored concealment, and some deep abrasions commensurate with use, the case having inherent tonal variations throughout, with light wear/ loss of the finish, particularly at the front corner posts, the metal hardware and trim with patination and gilt mellowing, the drawers operating smoothly, the interiors of cabinetry lined with contact paper, and I observe a minor glue reinforcement directly above the front left leg, there is sparse typical surface wear such as minor nicks and abrasions commensurate with age and use
