09/08/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 3137: I note that the commode stands sturdy, the marble top having a few typical minor chips to edge, mostly at the unfinished back edge consistent with rubs/ contact against a wall, also with a minute spot of fill at the central back edge (see image), the drawers operate smoothly and retain overall well-kept/ clean interiors, the parquetry inlay is overall well-preserved and free from notable losses, the case overall having typical minor surface wear such as small chips, a couple with filled concealment, nicks, and light abrasions commensurate with age and use, also having some small spots of minor peeled finish, and minor stable splits along the grain of the veneer, the left corner of lowermost edge with a small patch repair
