03.18.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1506: I note that the sideboard is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top displays inherent natural inclusions, fissures, and variations to the stone, as well as having minor chips to edges, mostly to the unfinished back edge, the doors and drawers currently operate smoothly, and the interior shelves are unfinished but sturdy, there is patination and minor gilt wear to the metal banding, the fluted pilaster to the left of the central double cabinet doors has minor loss to the top of the post below marble, and finish wear with peeling, there are a couple other minor spots of this finish peeling elsewhere at the front of the case commensurate with age and use
