French Louis XVI style walnut commode, 19th c., having shaped marble top, over conforming case, fitted with three drawers, framed by fluted columnar corner posts, with textured brass mounts, rising on tapering turned legs, approx 34.25"h, 45"w, 24.75"d
02.03.26: In my opinion regarding LOT 3312: I note that the commode stands sturdy, the marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures, having typical minor surface wear such as chipping to edges and some light water rings, as well as professional stabilizations of natural fissures, the veneer with scattered minor chipping commensurate with age and use, as well as a few minor reinforced splits, mostly at the drawer fronts, the finish exhibits tonal variations associated with light discoloration and fading, the metal elements remain securely mounted to case and display patination and mellowing
