LOT 3108- Please pardon the glare/white reflection of the overhead lighting, the marble top is intact with some typical noted roughness/minute chipping along edges and back, there is very small minor repair at front edge marble, see image, otherwise I note only some very slight surface wear and spotting/ring to top, the structure stands sturdy, the wood case exhibits very minor veneer loss, one area noted at top left edge beneath marble top, tonal variation and minor wood wear/nicks, the panels at frieze have a slight separation in the seam (see image), the door opens smoothly, to a single shelf with light wear, the inner door back is lined in a black felt that is slightly wrinkled and loose, I am unable to examine the door under this liner, see images, Dore bronze mounts appear present and intact throughout the case, I observe mellowing, minor patination and rubs to mounts, there a few minor loose/lifted areas of metal trim, that could easily be retacked, some tacks vary in color, while looking for a signature, I moved the marble top, the right side (wood) under the marble top has a separation that has been stabilized, all mentioned commensurate with age and use
I am not an expert on such furniture so have taken multiple high-resolution images, please see the WeTransfer link below **Provenance: the contents of the prominent San Antonio Holt Family's Terrell Hills home**
