07.08.25: As described the marble top is intact with professionally filled chips and reinforcement, I note that the commode stands sturdy and appears to remain structurally secure throughout, the marble top with inherent natural inclusions and veining, with typical minor chipping to edges, mostly at unfinished back edge, the drawers operating smoothly, with gilt metal trim remaining securely mounted with typical small dings/ nicks commensurate with age and use, I observe evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, and the side panels are intact with seams of reinforced separation that remains stable, as described the painted finish is intentionally distressed, and the minor surface wear described such as small chips, nicks, and abrasions are commensurate with age and use
