05.12.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 4523: I note that the mirror is presently intact, the frame securely encasing beveled mirror plate, which is free from observed chips or hairlines/ fractures, having typical minor silver loss and light spotting/ hazing commensurate with age, there are a couple areas of light rubs and small chips to the gilt elements, the cornice having been touched up with a gilt-painted finish, the composite material of the frame having some typical minor splits, all appearing stable and structurally sound, and there is typical minor surface wear such as sparse small chips and scuffs commensurate with age and use
