French mid-century modern sideboard, c.1960s, lacquered case likely in rosewood or macassar ebony veneers, fitted with four cabinet doors, revealing shelved interior with two drawers, rising on tapered legs, ending on metal feet, approx 37.75"h, 88.25"w, 20.5"d
11.20.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1174: I note that the sideboard is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the lacquered finish having some typical small nicks and chips, which are sparse, as well as having a hairline extending diagonally across the right-hand cabinet door but appears to remain stable at this time, there is light patination with spotting and tonal mellowing of the gold-toned metal hardware, interior shelving appears sturdy, I observe typical minor surface wear such as the aforementioned lacquer flaws, as well as light abrasions commensurate with age and use
