10.8.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 3072— the cabinet is located in a dark and somewhat cramped area of the gallery, please refer to the numerous online images for clearer views of the exterior and interior, the structure stands sturdy and stable, the finish displays typical age lines, some minor fine splits to the wood, and scattered nicks, scuffs and abrasions particularly along edges, there are some typical re-glued sections to inlays and metal trim with minor areas of loss and lifting visible throughout, metal mounts show surface wear, light rubs and some patination, glass panels are intact and secure, interior shelves are stable and exhibit some surface staining and tonal variation, overall the piece presents well with expected wear commensurate with the type, age, and use
