02.07.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 708: I note that the ottoman/ bench is currently intact and structurally sturdy, the upholstery exhibits discoloration/ light staining, but remains securely bound to the frame, corner seams also appear to be securely stitched, and I do not presently observe any tearing or loss to the needlepoint, the lining fabric on the underside of the seat exhibits minute tearing from interior springs, the metal frame displays patination/oxidation, as well as light surface wear such as spots of minor gilt loss, particularly to the stretcher bar, commensurate with age and use<br><br>Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
