French carved walnut highback armchair/ fauteuil, late 19th c., having padded back and seat in floral needlework upholstery, with nail head trim, scrolled foliate arms and lion mask handholds, rising on volute legs, ending in front paw feet, splits and glue repair to stretcher and back left leg, some missing and later mismatched nailheads, approx 44.5"h, 27"w, 27.25"d, seat height: approx 20.5"h
