02.09.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 2385: As noted in the listing description, the base is likely a later-added modification, and the side panels are intact with stable separation having filled reinforcement, I note that the commode is structurally sturdy, with tonal variations throughout the finish associated with fading, spotting, and discoloration/ staining commensurate with age and use, the drawer fronts have minute, circular patches flanking the escutcheons related to earlier drawer handles that have been changed (see images), the drawers operate overall smoothly, and pulls remain securely fixed to drawer fronts, there is typical minor surface wear such as small veneer chips, some with remnants of filled or touched up concealment, as is commensurate with age and use
