06.24.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 4231: As described the clock is lacking a pendulum and is not currently operational, I note that the surround is presently intact and structurally sturdy, with loss to the red enamel on the metal clockface, with patination of exposed/ bare metal, there is a section glue restoration to the trim at the back left edge, the pierced gallery on the medial surface has minor splits throughout and a glue repair at the right side edge, I observe varying degrees of seam separation at joinery points, and minute typical surface wear such as sparse minor chips, abrasions, and nicks commensurate with age and use
