French stained pine bed, early 20th c., with faux bamboo turnings, and split pediment crest with urn-form finials, paneled head and foot boards, rising on tapered legs, ending on casters, exterior: approx 53"h, 83.5"l, 55"w, interior: approx 79"l, 51"w **Note: matching armoire and nightstand offered in this auction**

01.07.26:I note that the bed is structurally sturdy, the pine retaining an overall uniform tone of the stained finish, the turnings with typical light tonal variations associated with minor fading and discoloration, I observe a few minute chips, and small, stable splits commensurate with age and use, and all of the mounted faux bamboo trim currently appears to be present and free from losses, I observe a few minute glue reinforcements to some segments of mounted trim and the finials, which are only visible from an up-close examination
