05-26-2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: 2199- as described, the operational status is unknown, clocks such as this are very fussy and have to be level, please bear this in mind while bidding, the structure stands sturdy, I note some stable splits, small wood losses, wear and variation to paint, scattered evidence of old woodworm with some losses, and general wear, the interior pendulum appears to be bent on the section that holds the disc as it pushes forward, the viewing door has a catch, however it is held by a nail, see image, enameled dial shows some discoloration and small losses, all mentioned commensurate with origin, age and use
