French Provincial carved walnut morbier/ longcase clock, 19th c., having arched crest, over glazed dial viewing panel, white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement, central cabinet door with carved harvest motifs and trailing foliates, paneled lower case depicting various instruments and handled urn, rising on short cabriole legs, ending on whorl feet, accompanied by pendulum and (two) weights, split and separation at back panel, crazing and fractures to dial at left side, not currently operational, approx 103"h, 22.5"w, 13"d

CR 6.26.25- As noted in the catalog description, the clock is not currently operational. It is accompanied by a pendulum, a key, and two weights. The clock is very difficult to wind and appears to be overwound/ wound tight. As mentioned, there is overall crazing and small fractures to the dial along the outer edge at the left side. The case is presently intact and stands sturdy. There is some evidence of old woodworm and typical surface wear commensurate with age and use. As mentioned in the description, there is a split in the wood and associated separation to the back panel at one side. As with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
