04.16.2026-The structure is in sturdy and stable condition, exhibiting age with some stable small splits, nicks, rubs, visible seams, minor evidence of old woodworm and some general light wear, the crest shows a small area of loss at upper right, doors open smoothly, however there is a slight gap at the bottom of the right door, see image, the interior shows wear, drawers are slide, but are a bit fussy, would benefit from a good waxing, interior and drawers are stable with some slight gapping to planks, all mentioned commensurate with origin, age and use
