French Provincial oak farmhouse table, 19th c., rectangular plank top inset with (six) removable pewter plates, stamped Wilhelm Schatz verso, raised on dual pedestal supports, joined by mortise and tenon cross stretcher, ending on molded shoe base, approx 29.5"h, 94.5"l, 35"w, bottom of apron to floor (clearance): approx 27"h
02.05.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 3121- the table is rustic in nature, heavy and in stable condition, the top is sturdy and thick, I have included your requested images of the plates removed, the top under the plates is ‘dished’ to support plates, there are marks to interior dished areas, the top surface shows some tonal variation, nicks, rubs, spotting, old wood patches and inherent imperfections to wood, there is minor scattered evidence of old woodworm, the base is stable and retaining wedges to both trestle supports, all mentioned commensurate with origin, age and use
