9.4.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 2087: I note that the duchesse is structurally sturdy, joinery appearing secure throughout, the frame with slight tonal variations associated with fading and typical minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, I observe some small, minor splits and separation with filled reinforcement, and I observe evidence of woodworm commensurate with origin, the later upholstery is notably well-kept, with only a few minute spots of very light staining, the fabric is free from observed tearing, holes, loose seams, or evidence of restoration, with some scattered minor loose threads, which are also typical, please refer to copious attached images
