09.04.26: As described the cover is intact with star hairline that carries through the transverse (see images), seemingly related to the securement of the pineapple finial, I note that the bowl stands sturdy, and remains securely mounted to bronze elements, the lid sits comfortably within the basin, with a few minute  the painted and gilt enameled decoration is overall well-preserved and free from notable losses, UV light examination is unremarkable and does not reveal evidence of restoration, nor do I currently observe visible chipping, the bronze exhibits typical patination and spotting commensurate with age and use
