06.03.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2283: I note that the specimen is presently intact and structurally secure, appearing securely fixed to the stand/ base, UV light examination reveals multiple professionally reinforced and filled hairlines or fissures, some of which may be naturally occurring during fossilization, one spot of fill protruding slightly over the top edge of the specimen as a small raised lip, I do not presently observe chips or fractures to the marble base
