George III period flame mahogany sideboard, early 19th c., having raised gallery with two sliding doors and two frieze drawers, bowfront top, over one additional drawer, flanked by one cabinet door and one deep drawer, rising on squared and tapered supports, ending on spade feet, stable splits with fill repair to sides, approx 44"h, 88"w, 28"d
10.23.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 2229- the sideboard is located in a dark and cramped area of the gallery, I have included the original unedited image as I cannot access the whole to photograph, the structure is overall intact, wood displays some overall tonal variation, nicks, small losses, abrasions and wear consistent with use, I note some possible small replaced veneer, see image, drawers in splash slide, however would benefit from a waxing as they are very tight, other drawers slide well, interiors show staining and some stable separation to bottom panels, legs show similar nicks and wear, overall commensurate with the antique age and use of the piece
