In my opinion regarding:

LOT – 1487-

The structure stands sturdy, I observe some overall restorations, small filled areas, pulls appear to be replacements with some wood-filled circular holes, light evidence of old woodworm (minor), small wood losses, and wood wear to case throughout, there is a concealed trim drawer at the top, all lower drawers and the inner door are all lacking lock mechanisms, drawers all slide appropriately, however, could use a good waxing to facilitate smoother movement, drawer bottoms show wear and some gapping to planks, side panels display some seams/splits, the fall front opens securely to later felt liner, there is a gap between drawer and base, this may be how the piece was made, the fall front supports have been reattached, see images, one side trim piece is slightly loose, I further note some inherent wood knots and imperfections, the piece exhibits wear commensurate with age, I am not an expert on such pieces so have taken numerous images for your review

Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
