Gay 90's Pinto Pop 8 ounce popcorn machine, c. 1990, manufactured by Gold Medal Products, model 2131, serial number 4400A, metal-framed case in a khaki painted finish with scrolled oak branch crest, dual hinged acrylic doors granting access to stainless steel kettle interior, retaining scoop, red enameled steel cart with vinyl decoration, on large spoked wheels, operational status unknown, approx 74.5"h, 43"w, 23"d **Note: retails for $1,500**
06.24.25: As described the operational status of the kettle is unknown, I note that the machine sits comfortably atop the cart, both appearing structurally sound and standing sturdy, the khaki paint finish with tonal variations associated with discoloration or an attempt to touch up the paint, the applied vinyl lettering is well-preserved, the red painted finish of the cart with some areas of surface wear/ loss, the tread of the two wheels also being slightly varied in color, there is patination/ oxidation and spotting commensurate with age and use throughout metal elements, particularly the stainless steel, acrylic sides are free from observed hairlines/ fractures or visible loss, the hinged panels operating smoothly, the surfaces would benefit from a thorough cleaning to resolve any lingering grime build-up
