04.05.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2112: From a physical examination, the clock is currently intact and structurally secure, with minor tonal variation/ rubs to carved elements, there is light grime build up in crevices of the minute hand, and the thick branch on either side of the base exhibits a minor split, the left hand side with minor chips, and there is light surface wear along the edges of bird wings and the adjacent leaves, functionality wise, the movement is marked CHS and does start, but stops after 45 seconds, one part of the cuckoo function needs adjustment, the interior has a buildup of grime, requiring that the movement be thoroughly cleaned to function properly
