Highly carved Henri II style oak sideboard, center drawer stamped Monti, Genova, late 19th c., shaped top with step-molded and floral lunette trim, above three drawers, and central breakfront door with elaborate carved roundel depicting a dog catching a rabbit in high relief, additional cabinet door at either side nature morte hunt motifs, each enclosing fixed-height shelving, on bracket feet, approx 42"h, 83.5"w, 25.5"d
10/26/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: 3274- the sideboard is in sturdy and stable condition, the case exhibits a rich, tonal patina, the top is intact with some finish loss to the rear left quadrant, paint splatter along the back edge, light surface wear, scattered nicks, divots and spotting, carved decoration is well retained with minor chips/losses and abrasions to projecting elements, the central panel shows some stable separation and gapping, drawer fronts exhibit wear from contact with metal handles, drawers slide well with remnants of liners, one retaining its liner, doors operate smoothly, the left and central cabinets lack shelving while the right retains a shelf, I note staining to the bottom of the right cabinet, overall the sideboard exhibits wear commensurate with age and utilitarian use
