07.09.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3240-  I am not an expert on furniture of this type, I cannot comment on whether any past conservation or restoration has occurred, the table appears stable, with the extensive inlay work appearing overall largely intact, I observe only a few minute, typical losses to the inlay and imperfections, wood exhibits some tonal variation, some small nicks, rubs, and general light wear, the carved bird elements are simply fitted into small tacked supports, two are lacking beaks, one beak is present with an apparent old repair, it may not be original, I am unsure, all birds appear to be lacking their original crest plumage, please review the accompanying photographs for close-up details, overall the table presents well, displaying minor wear and imperfections as consistent with its age and construction
