02.13.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1346: I note that the sculpture and base are presently intact, with the sculpture sitting comfortably against the pedestal, the alabaster and travertine exhibit inherent natural inclusions, fissures, and variations, I observe minor chips to the edges of base and to the sculpture, particularly to the grapes held by the figure, there is visible glue under the hand, likely part of a possible restoration at the waist of the figure, which has overpainting or reinforcement encircling the region, it may be original to the construction of the sculpture to join upper and lower halves of the body, but I am unsure and not able to see a visible hairline or fracture point under the pigment
