02.02.26: As described there is some bubbling under the veneer along one of the side rails, and one of the feet at the footboard is lacking the ring around the foot (see image), I note that the bed is structurally secure throughout, with spotting and typical surface wear such as small chips and nicks, mostly appearing at the side rails (see images), one of the crests has a later-added flower concealing a chipping loss (see images), the crests having a few minute glue reinforcements such as at the uppermost apex, and one finial has loss to the tip, another finial with a minor glue restoration
