06.03.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 4416: I note that the vitrine is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the case being securely fixed to the stand, with all glass panels being intact and free from observed chips or fractures, two of the pieces of inlaid bone on the front glazed door have been replaced and exhibit a yellow tone, please note that the decoration at the trim on the side panels and the side pieces of trim on the front door are not inlaid bone, rather they are segments of wood painted and etched to emulate bone, I note minor splits to some pieces of inlay and painted trim decoration, as well as minor varnish lifting and yellowing over the lacquered tortoiseshell patterned inlay, the interior shelves are sturdy and the back panel parquetry is well-retained and free from presently observed losses, I observe minor typical surface wear such as light rubs and nicks concentrated at edges and corners
