02.02.26: I note that the bed is structurally secure throughout, the caning is overall well-preserved and free from observed losses, tearing, or holes, possibly having been re-woven at a later date, the gilded frame of the headboard with typical light rubs and small flaked losses commensurate with age and use, I observe some finish tonal variations of the walnut, including spotting concentrated at the side rails, and a few minor, stable splits not affecting structural integrity
