04.29.26: As described there are a few deep abrasions at the left-hand side of the headboard, I note that the bed is structurally sturdy, the veneer is free from notable losses beyond a few small chips, having typical minor surface wear such as nicks and light scuffs commensurate with age and use, the lacquered finish with a few small, stable hairlines, I observe some small spots of peeling finish at the lower headboard, one side rail having a few central seams of separation along underlying air bubbles (see images), the other rail with a stable split extending from one end (see images)
