05-26-2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: 3260- the commode is in sturdy and stable condition, the top is now stabilized beneath a protective glass surface, I note a veneer loss to the rear left corner (top) along with scattered veneer wear and losses throughout, particularly along the lower rail, see images, the case exhibits filled and colored repairs, tonal variation, nicks and age related imperfections, I observe very sparse and minor evidence of old woodworm, the drawers slide well, the interiors may have been relined at a later date, the inlaid decoration remains largely intact and visually well-defined, overall the body shows veneer loss, wear and repairs commensurate with its origin, 18thc. age and use, please refer to online images for side views as I am unable to access at this time
