1.13.24-In my opinion regarding:
LOT – 3498-The commode is in a darkened area of the gallery and is highly reflective, any white glare you see is simply lighting or reflections from items around it, the structure stands sturdy, the top is intact with some noted surface wear, small areas of varnish loss, and light impressions (bubble wrap?) to varnish, mostly concentrated the front left and right, I further note some tonal variation, light rubs, small nicks and general wear, all as commensurate with age and use, the top drawer lock is not operational, the key operates the two lower drawers, however second drawer needs adjustment for the lock to catch, interior drawers are lined with some staining, bottoms are sturdy and drawers slide well
