Italian Neoclassical style walnut commode, early 19th c., rectangular case fitted with three drawers, flanked by fluted corner posts, rising on tapering squared supports, approx 35"h, 46"w, 19.75"d

9.26.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3251: I note that the commode is structurally sturdy, with tonal variations of the finish associated with staining/ discoloration and spotting consistent with early 19th century origin, mostly contained to the top of case, including a water ring at the back right quadrant, the top also with some minor panel separation (see images), and some filled peg covers, I observe a few small splits, all appear stable, the drawers operate smoothly and have worn contact paper lining of the interior, the top drawer with a patched restoration at the left-hand side (see image) adjacent to a minor split, I observe minor evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, and typical minor surface wear commensurate with age and use such as small chips, nicks, and abrasions, please refer to attached images
