05.21.25:I note that the coat rack is presently intact and structurally sound throughout, standing sturdy, the onyx elements having a few minor chips commensurate with use, the standard with a few scattered professional fills and stabilizations of inherent fissures, the lowermost section of the standard intact with a central restoration, and a stable hairline extending from a small chip in this region, appears to remain fully structurally secure, I observe a shellac or finishing agent applied to the onyx, which is slightly yellowed and has a couple minute flaked losses, the metal appears securely mounted throughout with patination and mellowing commensurate with age
