09.04.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3503: I note that the hall tree is presently intact and structurally sturdy, there are typical minor splits and some areas of light seam separation at joinery, some spots having filled reinforcement, the knob to the center-right of rail has a restoration, with glue reinforcement of the rail at either side of knob, the hall tree is retaining metal drip pans, both having visible seams at the curved sides from a soldered reinforcement, the side of one pan being present but detached with remnants of an attempted glue repair, the coat hooks appear secure at joinery to panels, the carvings are overall well-preserved, with a few minute chips, a couple having a small amount of fill, the chipping and other typical minute surface wear such as small abrasions and nicks all being commensurate with age and use
