Italian Renaissance Revival carved walnut bed, late 19th c., having scrolled foliate crest with central shield motif, above paneled headboard with protruding figural masks and fruit swag, conforming footboard, joined by straight rails, rising on carved bun feet, exterior: approx 69"h, 86"l, 72"w, interior: approx 78"l, 65.5"w
CR 11.6.25- I note that the bed is structurally sound and stands sturdy, with typical light surface wear and scuffing commensurate with age and use, the footboard has two small splits at either side which appear to be non-structural, I observe some typical scattered lifting to the veneer, particularly along the interior corners of the footboard and the top right corner of the headboard
