Italian Renaissance Revival walnut hall bench, early 19th c., having molded cornice with foliate lunette trim, over paneled seat back with carved figure and scrolling foliates, beast-form armrests flanking hinged seat revealing open interior storage, rising on plinth base, seat interior retaining partial adhesive label from the world's oldest bank, Monte dei Paschi di Siena (established under the Republic of Siena in 1472), approx 47.25"h, 42"w, 21.75"d, seat height: approx 23"h
