Condition

02.18.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2302: I note that the bookcase is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the paneling having a couple minor splits and light separation, as are typical, the glass panes being securely encased within framing, and currently are free from observed chips or fractures, the glass shelves also being free from hairlines or fractures at this time and having a couple minor chips, and some sparse minute fleabites, which are also typical and commensurate with use, there is minute evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, and a minor split with lifting along the seam at the central lower edge of interior back panel, I observe typical minor surface wear, such as rubs to the finish concentrated at the apron, edges, and high points of carved elements, as well as scattered minor chips and nicks, including the loss of a couple segments of the dentil molding below the cornice, this minor surface wear is typical and commensurate with age and use
