10.4.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3134: I note that the console is presently intact and structurally secure, the marble top is intact with inherent natural inclusions and fissures, having a few typical minute chips along the unfinished back edge, I do not currently observe hairlines/ fractures or restorations to the marble, the painted finish exhibits typical small losses and areas of light discoloration commensurate with age and use, some of the carved elements having glue restorations, including one of the scrolled supports but appears to remain structurally secure, there is loss to the right-hand side swag along the frieze, and typical splits of varying degree to the supports and lower shelf, all appearing to remain stable, I observe sparse, minor evidence of old woodworm contained to the frieze, the fabric upholstery of the backboard is securely bound and has some typical minor snags in the upper quadrant but is currently free from observed tearing, I note typical minor surface wear such as small nicks, chips, and abrasions to the painted finish commensurate with age and use
