08.10.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 1319- please note that I am not an expert on woodblock prints, as described the work was not examined out of frame, I do not know how or if the sheet is mounted, the sheet is slightly toned, with scattered spotting, primarily concentrated to the margins, with a few spots extending into the image, including within the cat's head and directly above, there are minor marks and light wrinkling to the sheet, a few very small debris remnants are noted along the left and lower margins, it appears the sheet may be resting over another backing or sheet, creating a darkened area along the left margin, however I am unable to confirm this and have taken an image for your review, the frame is intact exhibiting small areas of finish loss and wear, all mentioned commensurate with the vintage age of the work, a UV light examination reveals no apparent major areas of fluorescence associated with restoration
