10.3.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3491: Upon close visual and UV light examinations, the sculpture and the base are free from observed hairlines, the carvings are overall well-preserved, with only a few minute flea bites commensurate with use/ display, the sculpture fits comfortably in the base, and there are a few minute hairlines to the branches of the sculpture (see images, one example circled in red for better visibility), which are typical given the narrow nature of the carved branches, the base and sculpture with inherent natural inclusions and a few small fissures
