03.18.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2348: As described the vessel is intact with professional restorations at the rim and either side of the neck, upon close visual and UV light examinations, I note that the vase stands sturdy, with scattered chipping at the rim, I observe typical minor iron pitting, and chipping throughout the rim and the edges of applied elements, there are visible fracture seams at the rim at the site of restoration that appear stable, the restorations at the neck with discolored inpainting, the foot ring has overall roughness from kiln removal and old chipping, the turquoise glaze applied underfoot with a minor flaw producing a heavy presence of air bubbles
