12.7.24-In my opinion regarding:  3198-The work was examined on the wall, please refer to online images for a photo of the back, the canvas has been realigned and stabilized, a UV examination reveals old varnish, craquelure and inpainting scattered throughout, particularly where paint has flaked and is now stabilized by the rear canvas, I note varied thickness to paint and canvas (repair?, see images) and general light grime, all commensurate with the age of the work, the frame is intact with typical small rubs and losses to gilt surface, I am not an expert on such works, please let me know should you have specific or further questions
