10.3.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 2283: As described there are remnants of the original gilded finish, the diamond dusted mirror plate with areas of silver loss throughout (see images) commensurate with age, plate is free from observed hairlines/ fractures or visible chipping, the gilt-painted finish having some rubs and light discoloration commensurate with use, the outer trim with some small scattered splits, which are typical, all appear fully stable, and a couple of small chips (see images)
