CR 8.19.25-In my opinion regarding LOT 2278: I note that the mirror plate is securely encased within framing and free from observed fractures/ hairlines, having a small, minor chip near the top right corner (see image), the mirror plate with areas of hazing/ spotting commensurate with age, and some minute spots of silver loss, the gilding of the frame exhibits typical tonal variations including rubs, mellowing, and spotting commensurate with age and use, the frame also with a few minor chipped losses to trim, a couple of pieces on the outermost trim with some minute glue reinforcement (see images), and some typical minor splits, all appearing stable
