02.07.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2420: As described there are some scattered gilt-painted touch ups, I note that the mirror is presently intact, the frame securely encasing mirror plate, which is currently free from observed chips or hairlines/ fractures (not examined outside frame), with a small amount of scattered silver loss and spotting, as is typical and commensurate with age, the frame with tonal variations throughout the gilt finish, due in part to rubs and mellowing, I observe a couple minute splits at the upper left corner, and some typical minor chips and abrasions commensurate with age and use, the molded composite panel is mounted to a thick wood panel which is visible from the edges and is not in a gilt finish, there are a couple small spots at center of each side of frame that have painted concealment and appear to possibly be from joinery to this wood panel with a nail or screw from the reverse side
