Large Lladro porcelain figure, "Reflections of Hamlet," model number 1455, retired design by Salvador Furio (20th c.), depicting Hamlet sitting with the skull of Yorick on a curule chair, retaining original worn box, figure: approx 14 7/8"h, 9 3/8"w, 13.75"d, overall in box: approx 11.75"h, 21.5"w, 18.5"d, 17lbs
9.23.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1358-A careful UV examination reveals adhesive at the skull, this may be original to the piece, I am unsure, there is a very small area on the on the back of the chair the reacts to the UV light, the glaze here is slightly varied in color, see I am unsure if this is minute professional repair or pooled glaze, see images, otherwise the figure is intact with no noted chips or cracks, all fingers and protruding elements are present, the original box is worn
